Project Tick is committed to long-term sustainability and infrastructure independence.
GitHub is currently the most efficient platform in terms of cost, access, and CI capacity. However, the project infrastructure is designed to be independent of a single commercial provider.
All our repositories are hosted on our own servers and independent backup infrastructures.
GitHub usage will be terminated if:
Changes to the ToS or Privacy Policy negatively impacting contributor rights
Changes to CI/CD policies that compromise sustainability due to cost or restrictions
Increased centralized control over source access or project management
In this case:
Issues and Pull Request services on GitHub will be disabled
Use of GitHub Actions will be terminated
All development operations will be migrated to an alternative platform
GitLab SaaS is being considered as the primary migration target.
Project Tick supports free software and code freedom. Platform choice is an operational decision, not an ideological one.
We thank our community and all contributors.
